Chinese PLA back to pavilion in Hotsprings & Gogra. In recent development is that Chinese troops started taking back step in Hotsprings and Gogra valley in Laddakh region. Among high tension between India China, this step by PLA army is surprising. In International political circuit, news is that before SCO meeting and Chinese Premier and Indian PM Narendra Modi meeting there, this step has been taken to cool off tension. Indian Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar has recently gave clear indications to China that without cool of on Borders, India China ties won't return to normal. So before meeting with PM Modi china has tried to save face. Its president don't want to face PM in such scenario. Indian Army on other hand has done its best preparations to counter their expansion policy. Among the Indo-China standoff of more than a year, we has tested many dozens of new dangerous weapons and invested heavily on border infrastructure on LAC. India is now fastest growing economy in the world and in last quarter where china has 2% GDP growth rate, on other hand we achieved double digit growth rate 13.5%. India is now on road to become 4th largest economy in the world soon bypassing Germany and China due to standoff with India feeling heat and not allowed to invest in India and loosing a great share of profit.
Another big reason of Chinese PLA back to hut is that Chinese Premier has now understood that India is no more same as was in 1962. Under able leadership of PM Modi India is equally armed with great diplomacy, growing economy and Made in India weapons. Recently Tejas Fighter jets,INS Vikrant launched and India proved that in recent years they have great advancement in its skills, power, capabilities and ability to make best weapons in its own country. China is under pressure from its economy and Taiwan Issue. She Jinping want to become President again but due to zero covid policy, scams and failure of infrastructure companies and bankruptcy has pushed him back. Recent developments on Taiwan, Nancy Palocy visit to China has damaged She Jinping image inside China as well on international political circles. China is already facing QUAD in South China Sea. among border tension with India, US army is doing war exercise with Indian army just 100 KMs away from LAC. China has no other option left beside pulling troop back from Hotsprings and Gogra valley.
Reasons forcing Chinese PLA to pull back its troops from Hotsprings and Gogra Valley .
There are many reasons but Some Important are here to pull back from Hotsprings and Gogra valley :
1- SCO Meetings at Bishkek Kyrgyzstan, India and China will meet and PM Modi and President She Jinping will meet face to face. China don't wish to face awkward situation.
2- Growing tension with Taiwan and USA. China is under big pressure as USA and Taiwan challenging regularly by their actions. Nancy Palocy visit has put China under immense pressure. Outspoken Global times threat post to kill Nancy Palocy and inability to act to perform it, Put Jinping image down within and outside China, Pulling back from Hotsprings and Gogra is a tactics to cool off some tension.
3- India became integral part of QUAD. India and USA partnership grown up manifolds after India China standoff started. Indian Diplomacy has done enough damage to China and exposed expansion policy of them.
4- India and US army war exercise just 100 KM away from LAC. India and US army exercise has feared China that if they continue then India may offer LAC area to US army in case of attack to capture Taiwan. From this exercise, India exposing Chinese PLA weaknesses and accustoming US army to fight PLA in the highest Himalayan area. China don't wish to see US army at its doorstep through LAC any how. It is better cool of tension in Laddakh Valley and pull back PLA from Hotsprings and Gogra and make India calm down.
5- Falling economy is another reason. China's Zero covid policy and natural calamities has put Chinese economy on backfoot. Big companies and back turning bankrupts. Chinese Banks unable to pay its own customers' money back to them due to lack of cash. China wish to manage economy first.
6- International Pressure. UN report on Uighur Muslims, COVID 19 investigation by WHO, Germany Ambassador to India statement on Arunachal Pradesh. India , US and European countries joining hands against China in South China Sea and trade are few such reasons that China want some release of tension on Indian Side border called LAC.
